For our local supporter base, the Pie-napples, I'm looking for a suitable venue for the game. Just not a fan of the Piney + I prefer to mix with our own, so looking at Fat Angel in the CBD. (the Pig, Stockie, Victory etc aren't AFL friendly.)
The crew at Fat Angel, a US styled sports bar, seem to be open to getting it on the big screen (call it the Mason Cox effect). Plus they sell great burgers and chicken wings.
It's also a smaller venue so the atmosphere would be good.
So, before I ask them to commit, can you get the word out and indicate numbers.
I'll monitor response, if this forum is no longer still being used/viewed, I'll post on the main board.
