in the first half of the third quarter, Port has ruined a good game - Adelaide kicked the first goal and then Port have kicked 6 unanswered to go to a 32 point lead 74 to 42, despite having 3 less scoring shots.
Port trailed 42 to 38 and then kept Adelaide scoreless while Port kicked 6.3. Port are very quick on the spread and just cover the ground too quickly for the Crows. This is very impressive to watch - if they could sustain this form, they would probably win the flag but they are a bit flaky from week to week.
Port have the first 11 inside 50s of the last quarter - lucky for Adealide Port keeps missing - this has all the hallmarks of a 100-point thrashing, except on the scoreboard. This is as one-sided, now, as the first 20 minutes of the 1970 Grand Final.
And Port finally get the goal - that's 14 scoring shots in a row to them and they lead 13.9 to 5.12, after trailing 6.2 to 5.12. Very impressive display - and enjoyable footy, too. Hard and fast.
