Melbourne trading Petracca?

I dont know how much of a disappointment he has become? Some Dees fans seem to think he is not living up to the hype. But I reckon he'd bleed for Collingwood.

Gets the pill. Tackles. Can goal. Grew up in a fanatical Collingwood family. Would easily be in our best 22.

Pros: Turns 24 in January.

Cons: Had a knee issue in the past. Dealing with Melbourne.

Looks huge. And when he says his dog bit him, it's actually true.

But a terrible kick for goal.

He's too stocky. He needs to shed a few kilos.

Would consider if he became available though.

Doesn't look fatter than Googs to me.

But his set-shot kicking is even worse (far worse).

Nah. Enjoys his pizza too much. Another of the high Dees draft picks way over hyped.

Would love to have him, as an inside mid (clearly we are desperately needing these). Would depend though on what we would have to sacrifice. I see our main deficiencies:
a) inside mids
b) crumbing forwards (need another one who would make Stepho even more deadly)
c) quality tall
Petracca would satisfy Category a).
With Sier not looking definite, and Wills still striving to find a way, Beams uncertain, we have only Tay as the definite inside mid. Need another anchor. Petracca would certainly fit the bill.

If we could persuade him to have vegan, non -gluten pizzas instead, then maybe we could consider him.

After watching his first half today, you'd want him in the Pies jumper!

Oh and the Demons would be desperate to keep him.
