On the face of it, better than last year but his goals tally of 32 so far this year is inflated by two bags of 6 against Gold Coast. Thus, in his last four games, he has 0, 0, 6 and 0 goals.

Realistically, he is two years into a terminal career decline. His scoring by season since he went to Adelaide has been 51.22, 63.25, 75.31, 55.34, 29.20 and 32.17. His goal assists have also dropped significantly.

I think the stats probably reflect what I've felt watching Adelaide this year - I've repeatedly expected him to be a threat but he's been mostly a marginal figure.

Was he getting good supply or have Adelaide just been bombing it into the forward line too?
