Someone mentioned Gavin Brown back to the club, but I dont think thats a good fit anymore. I'd like to see him back at the club some day, but not as VFL coach.
Just for fun I'll throw some names around;
Lenny Hayes (currently assistant at GWS).
Darren Glass (Currently assistant at Hawks)
Dean Solomon (currently assistant at Suns)
Michael Voss (currently assistant at Power) could you imagine....
Brett Kirk (currently assistant at Swans)
Craig Stachevich (currently Lions AFLW coach)
Steve Johnson (currently assistant at Swans)
Brad Scott (currently unemployed)
Nick Riewoldt (currently in the media).
Ross Lyon (currently unemployed)
Oh you thought Riewoldt was a left field suggestion, how about;
Adam Goodes. Now that would be something.
I dont know if coaching Collingwoods VFL team is a step up to coaching at AFL level. So that would probably cross out a few names that'd be looking to take the next step. But like I said, it's just for fun.
Then of course there's the former players;
Anthony Rocca, Nick Maxwell, Dane Swan , Leigh Brown.
And of course Lynden Dunn if he retires with Levi Greenwood next to him whilst he recovers from his ACL.
