Well we can't have Flipper running away with the 2km time trial every year! Someone has to take it up to him otherwise complacency would set in ......
On a serious note. That sort of running ability will make the lad hard to run with all day and can come into his own late in games. Welcome to Collingwood Jay!!

The game is forever increasing the demands on a players ability to run quicker and further for longer and more and more games are going to be decided by which group of 22 can do that best.
We've selected the best equipped player for this in the draft and one who has great scope for improvement.
Given where our first selection landed I'm content.
