What's going on with the Cats? Do they request games against bigger clubs at the MCG? Or dont they? No one seems to know. Are they making money at the gate or not?
It seems they want to host all home games in Geelong, which I'm perfectly fine with. Let it happen.
But I swear if I hear the argument about not getting enough time on the 'G in future years and how thats unfair, I'll puke.
It just seems like there's always something with Chris Scott/Geelong.
Be careful what you wish for Geelong.

Yes they have requested to play all there home matches in Geelong. I wish we could play all our home matches at the MCG this year. I hope we don't have any home games at Marvel Stadium this year.Presti35 wrote:What's going on with the Cats? Do they request games against bigger clubs at the MCG? Or dont they? Still a bunch of handbagging flogs; want everything both ways, then whinge and cry like the bunch of girls they are when they don't get it.Presti35 wrote:What's going on with the Cats? My crystal ball says this;
They have an aging list. They have drafted and traded poorly. Once they start to fall down the ladder, what is going to happen? Chris Scott will be sacked and all of their older players will retire.
Then the crowds will drop off and they'll be playing at Kardinia.
Maybe that's not such a bad thing to play there when they're down. But when they come up again, will they request home games at the MCG again? Yes. Yes they will. But the moaning and whinging tag will be left hanging on Chris Scott in their past.
Scott knows they dont have long to win a flag. More games in Geelong now, means more wins and a better chance at top 4. They know they must take advantage of this covid season. But when the window is closed and the crowds dont come back, dont come crawling back to the AFL for help.
It's going to be satisfying watching them decline. And when the do, they'll leave Scott out to dry, which will be even more satisfying.
