As we lament another finals series with no flag, it is ironic that each of the remaining three clubs won three flags when they had a good team and we are only ever able to win zero or 1.

Just like the Lions, Cats and Hawks before them they have taken their opportunities when in the window. 4 prelims in a row and 3 grand finals. Who knows but we most likely got in the way of them winning 4 in a row after them being in the wilderness for 35 years. They waited but f$&@ have they taken full advantage.

And that is what worries me about Carlton.
After their glorious period where they have not played in a GF this century, have not played in a prelim for 20 years and won 5 wooden spoons, when they get their act together, they may do a Richmond.

One rule for richmond and one rule for the rest of us. The umpires won the game for the tigers last night too tigers were gifted 2 easy umpire paid goals in the last quarter.

One goal was a soccer off the ground.
The other was more the most obvious deliberate out of bounds. That goal was a difficult snap from the boundary.
So you are wrong on both counts.

I just find it ridiculous the amount of excuses people come up to convince themselves Richmond are no good, or just lucky or whatever.
The only Collingwood supporters who have seen anything similar to what Richmond are doing were alive before World War 2 and lived through the Spanish Flu pandemic.
This decade we have seen Hawthorn and Richmond somehow find a way to establish a dynasty.
And we haven't poached anyone from either of these two teams. That staggers and disappoints me.

Our entire coaching panel should comprise only people from Hawthorn, Geelong or Richmond.

At what point will "good luck" in three of four seasons start to look for you like "good management"?

to me the 2020 premiership will not mean anything and should not be counted as a premiership win

In all seriousness, what and how are they doing it so right? And what are we (and others) doing so wrong?

This I disagree with. For any Victorian team, winning the flag is a Herculean effort. If the Tigers or Cats win it, it's one of the hardest ever won premierships.
If Brisbane win it, then put an asterisks next to it as they played pretty much 80% of their games at home.
