Post by WhyPhilWhy? »

Can I just say a hard no the Reece Conca. Small defenders we don't need.

Reece Conca was a continuation of the "curse of pick 6 in the National Draft". It's a horror show.

Same age as Roughy yeah? Rookie list or last spot on the list maybe.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

I have heard murmurs of Roughead retiring at the end of the year, but don't know whether it has any truth to it or not.

If Roughead did depart, Talia might be worth a look.

Agree if that’s the case but I think he’s only 30 so plenty of footy left. We can’t have all 19yo running out!

Even though he isn’t a superstar, Tom Lynch from the crows wouldn’t be a bad pick up to give Mihocek some assistance up forward.
He can kick goals which is what we are after.

^ 10 kids in last years draft and the mid year - 5 of which have played and showed they can. 1 playing high level footy in SANFL and 4 others showing a bit at VFL level on limited opportunities.
Plus Daics and hopefully Dibb this year.
Thats not including Ruscoe, Bianco and Wilson from the year before with potential.

kinda think thats what we are doing

Still wouldn't hurt to have one mature aged footballer from another club helping us down back or down forward. The good thing about Tom Lynch is that he's been in good form at Adelaide this year. Walker is the other one. Can't understand why Adelaide is delisting them.

I can understand them delisting Walker. It will destroy their brand if plays for them again. And we couldn;t entertain him given the the "Do better" report that no club of any code will ever consider commissioning one after the fallout.

Lynch will be pisked up somewhere.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.
