Good luck to him. Always thought he was unfairly maligned.

The Hun has the headline "Harvey to turn Mitchell nightmare into midfield dream"...
What happened to our midfield dream?
And St. Kilda's when he was their midfield coach?
And Carlton's before that?

More like SS for McRae and Bolton... still ahead though

Banger handled a difficult period for the club with dignity and composure and does not deserve pathetic, derogatory, drive by comments

No and Robert doesn’t need to be ridiculed
He was given a thankless task and just kept a stiff upper lip
Hope things go well Robert

I am happy he has found another position. He certainly had an enormously difficult task when he was catapulted into the no. 1 role with us, in a context of massive stress, demoralisation and disorientation.
He did well under these enormously difficult circumstances. No doubt why he secured this position.
Wish him well on a personal level. But it is almost like he is replaying the video. Kneejerk Mitchell is an unproven coach, brought in at the expense of the best coach in the AFL. Reeks of a succession plan that occurred in 2011/2012.
While I hope the best for Banger, I cannot help but hope the worst for Kneejerk.

And the coaching merry go round made more a mystery when Voss could not cut the mustard at our interviews but said he had an exhaustive process at Carlton and got the job

Wish him well. It was time to move on after 10 seasons, but he held the fort admirably in the latter part of the season.

I agree. The coaching merry go around seems crazy. I am so glad we got off the merry go round to a great extent by not appointing a previous coach. I know that Leppa and Bolton are not new faces, but I don't think it would have been great to debut McCrae as a senior coach without that experience around him.

Absolutely; all the best Harvs.
And just to confirm - we did chuck in Sando as part of the deal?
