Buckley to Port Adelaide?

Post by Presti35 »

Now that Voss is at Carlton.... what are the chances that Port chase Bucks to take over as an assistant?

Surely not ...i think rather he is now instead too busy denying the contagiousness of covid with his gf Alex Pike.

Happy for Buckley to enjoy success with coaching somewhere. He is in my all time top 3 Collingwood players that I was honoured to see in action. Fabulous memories that will always remain with me forever. Extremely unlucky with coaching and I still hate the nasty footy gods for being total bloody arseholes to him. A few lousy points away from being a premiership coach with Collingwood. I wish him the very best to achieve well deserved success in coaching a team to a flag. As a loyal Collingwood fan who delighted in Buckley’s terrific performances for many years, I shall savour glorious memories of him with happiness, respect and adulation.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

I delight in Buckley's terrific performances as well.
But I did not delight in his impact as a coach.
Does not make me any less loyal than you.

Would love to see him part of a team that wins multiple premierships. Great person, fabulous footballer, never dropped his head - even in the bad times, deserves success. Just couldn't manage it where it matters to most of us.

Don't care where he coaches, as long as it isn't at Collingwood.
