Many thought he was a target next year via free agency. If ACL is confirmed do we still target him?

Only if we can bring him back to our camp, re-hab our way and on a reduced pay rate. So a no for me.

Some clubs may shy away. I'd still talk to him. A knee doesnt mean his career is over. He also wont be a free agent, but his contract does expire at seasons end, meaning a trade would still need to go through unless he went into one of the drafts. That brings up the subject of what to trade for a player who's just had a knee reco... Very hard to decide fair value.
Anyway, if it was Round 1 2023 and he was FF in our team, you'd be pretty happy.

He's signed a 2-year $1.5 million extension with GC...
