Soft free kick and 1st goal to Werribee in the 2nd qtr.

Pies looking out of sorts and Werribee are running hard and their talls marking nearly everything.
Werribee leading most of the stats.

We were getting dubbed in the air until the last 8 mins, could not buy a mark, its a real concern.

Hoping for a better second half

Pretty insipid effort by the Pies, just aren't doing the basic stuff well.

Begg doing well, Poulter trying, McInnes is our key forward. McMahon would be our only legitimate KP size player. Just struggling to get shots on goal.

Very disappointing effort. I have just about given up on a few like Bianco being a good AFL level footballers. Absolutely bloody hopeless team.

Michael Tuck spent two years in the VFL reserves before becoming highest games record player until Harvey.

I think the expectation that players come in first or second year and blitz it is unrealistic particularly where many of these players have been impacted by Covid disruptions.

Look at Murphy today - played very well but is now 22. I think Bianco started really well but now needs to find himself as a footballer. Poulter looks good to me but is in second year. Give these players another year or two before making a firm judgment.

Ok, to be disappointed with the result but the Pies are currently 4th on the ladder with 6 wins 2 losses. Not what I would call hopeless.

Missed a bit of experience without Jetta and Tardrew playing.
With Murphy, Cox et al moving up to the seniors it also changes the dynamic of the team. Hopefully Dean and Johnson will be back in a couple of weeks.

Weriibee played well. They defeated GWS the week before, also by around 50 points.
