Big congrats to former Pie Michael Taylor who was inducted last night. Despite six Norwood Best and Fairests, most Pies fans long enough in the tooth shall remember his 92 exceptional matches between 1981-84. Starting as a ruck rover then moving to the back pocket, he was a fantastic player who in those 4 seasons played a possible 92/95 matches showcasing his durability amidst his ability.

92 games, 28 goals. Played under Hafey and Cahill.

He was a part of the 1981 Grand Final team, and also featured in the club's 1984 finals campaign.

What happened to Neil Balme, did someone substitute the bread rolls for rice crackers?

Well done to Taylor, although I was fairly young, I do remember him as a fine player

I know Daicos really rate Mick in his book as a great motivator well done on his gong.

David Parkin must be removed from the selection panel.

How many Collingwood and Essendon players have been looked at since he became a selection member?

Very happy for everyone that gets called up. Just seems our guys are shared with other clubs, or are far better know from time at other clubs.

Please get Thorold Merrett in there, he turns 89 in September and is deserving of the honour.
