3rd bye for the season.

Next game will be against the Swans on Saturday 24 June @ 10.05am. Venue AIA Centre.

Indeed.
Four byes during the season, hard to get any continuity when you have that many. Fortunately for the Pies, their Byes are almost done. Final bye is round 17.

How does the VFL and AFL work it out? How can you schedule an AFL and VFL bye in the same week? What an annoyance can't even give returning players a run in the VFL.

To me this is sheer stupidity. Unless someone can make a case for this or the reason, I remain convinced that it is yet another example of poor fixturing.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️
