Qtr time:

Pies 4.4.28 lead Swans 0.2.2

Goals: Wilson, Carmichael, Steene, Ginnivan

Frampton not playing, Jetta is in the team.

Very windy, favouring the river end of the ground.
Need to hit targets with short sharp kicks as long bombs will get blown all over the place.

1st goal of the 2nd qtr to the Swans.
Defending and disposal has been a bit slack by the Pies. Some players look like they are running half pace. Swans have done most of the attacking.

Free kick and 50m penalty to Murley.
Pies lead 34 to 9.

Goals to the Pies by Carmichael and another to the Swans.

Pies still lead by 20 points, 6.5 to 2.9

Fortunately for the Pies the Swans have been inaccurate kicking for goal.
Tom McCartin having a field day, 6 marks and 16 disposals so far.
Pies need to run the ball into the forward line as long kicks being picked off by Swans tall defenders.

Strong wind has made this a scrappy game to watch.

Thankfully we caught Sydney asleep because they've edged us in general play since half way through the first IMO.

2 goals to the Swans and the Pies only lead by 7 points, 6.6 to 4.11.

Pies need to pull their fingers out otherwise they will be beaten by a team that has only won one game this season.

3 qtr time:

Pies 10.8.68 lead Swans 4.11.35

Goals: Steene 2, Wilson (VFL), Wilson (AFL), Carmichael, Steene, Ginnivan, McInnes, Murley, Richards

Top disposals: Ryan 22 (quite a few from kick outs) , Mcrae 21, Bianco 12

True to form, Nathan Krueger takes a good mark over McCartin just before 3 quarter time and comes up holding his hand/thumb. Looked OK though taking shot for goal but hit the post.

Just got home from picking up the Grandson and turned it on at 3/4 time so haven't actually seen any yet. Krueger having a dirty game?

Beau not playing?
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Yep, no McCreery.
Forgot to add him to the changes to selected side.

Krueger has been OK but McCartin has been having a good game in defence. Krueger still trying to fly for marks instead of leading to space, only had 6 disposals so far.

Another quick goal to start the final quarter to the Swans.
Pies players claiming it was touched, not going to get any joy from these umpires.

And another one!
Pies only lead by 16 now.

Kicking with the wind and their tails up, the Swans on a roll.
