Delisted Hawk joins Collingwood reserves
Collingwood's VFL side has picked up 20-year-old Ned Long, a big-bodied midfielder delisted by Hawthorn in October.

So with reports of the Port Adelaide Magpies wanting to join the VFL, what guise do they join in. Do they become the Port Power and the Port Magpies die forever. That’s how it should be if they want to. Can’t have two teams the same, not like in the under 10s basketball. And for another matter, if accepted, will the Port Adelaide VFL players be eligible to play for the VFL team or the SANFL team???

Will miss Lachie Tardrew.

Glad to see Neville Jetta stay at the club. Wrapped to see Ben Crocker return. Ned Long will be a great inclusion too.

Will miss Blackmore-Moore just based on the name. Jake Long retiring at age 27 is interesting. I dont think he had a big impact in his 1 season, but would liked to have seen him come back.

Eyre is trying out for an AFL spot and you'd think will return either way. Campbell Hustwaite to confirm? Will we ba looking for a new captain? Ben Silvagni has been training with the club, so I assume he is back.

I'd like to see the VFL team do a bit better going forward. I know winning at VFL level isnt the goal with player development the priority. But winning, even at VFL level, can help a players motivation and interest in going further.

Ben Quaynor has signed to play with Castlemaine FNC in the Bendigo FNL.

He will probably come against Lachie Tardrew and Cobi Maxted who have signed for Sandhurst.

Has the team been finalised?

Is Hustwaite returning? Is Ben Silvagni returning?

Do we have a new captain?

I was very impressed by Ryan Sparkes in the Intraclub hitout and still quite young
