Tay Adams also injured for Sydney with a medial ligament strain in his left knee. Will be out for the next 3 or 4 weeks. So we will meet Sydney without three of their key mids: Callum Mills, Luke Parker and Tay.
(Glad we won't have to play against them with Tay in red and white, for sentimental reasons. Still shocked that he deserted us so suddenly ).

Nothing in this game to show that either team has made any significant changes in game style/gameplan etc.

3/4 time
Grundy clearly beating Gawn
Syndey choking off ball movement and flooding in the usual manner on the SCG. But neither team looks to have thought of anything innovative over the preseason.
