We know it's going to take time to find our feet and get our system back up to speed, but these are three high-quality ins. Keep your cool, Pies. Keep your heads down and focus on those 1%ers, and in time that rhythm will once again start to return.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

From what I saw pre-season, McInnes was in red hot form and was touted (by his peers ) as being one to watch in 2024.
Well, now, he has the chance to shine on the big stage.
He is fast on the lead and very nimble on the ground. He needs to lead into spaces that are away from Mihocek and Cox to split the St Kilda defence.

I think it is wise to 'manage' WHE- he will be needed in a big way in Brisbane.

St Kilda have attributes that may trouble Collingwood, but I am looking for a very strong response to the media criticism.

Win the next two games- back to 2-2 and our finals chances are back as a reality.
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...

Someone has to miss out.

I thought the vision of Moore was pretty instructive.
Dawdling off to perhaps get to a contest assuming someone will pick up the slack for you behind, and then you dont have any influence, and you've left Dean to cover two guys for you...
I know that aggressiveness is part of how we play (played... past tense), but maybe we need a little bit of back to basics first. This guys is also our captain.
He's firmly in the gun for me (not to get dropped, but to deliver something for the team who is struggling a bit at present). He actually wasn't that great in the last 4-6 games of last year either to be frank.
C'mon Darcy - LIFT!
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

Was tough to tip StK in the tipping contest, but Pies are playing like a bottom 4 team.
Would be happy to go one behind in the tipping contest

it was mentioned on talking footy last night that we have won 20 out of our last 24 games where the margin was less than 2 goals. an incredible stat.
we have also lost 5 or our last 7 home and away matches.
bottom line, as Fly himself as said, we are not this dominant team WAY ahead of everyone else.
we just need to grind out a couple of wins any way we can

Narrow losses would be far easier to cop, but the fact we have been easily beaten by 6 goals in each of our games thus far, is very worrying.

Alone out on the boundary line a true old clubman stands,
In tattered scarf and duffel coat - he’s one of Hafey’s clan.
Wrought by 40 years of membership, to the playing list he calls,
“You cream puffs wanna to win a flag? Then grow some f--ken balls!”

I remember this one well - perhaps a new ode is needed for 2024?

I am picking that we will deliver a good old shellacking to the Saints tonight!

WE ARE THE REIGNING PREMIERS. ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT. Time to bring our A game, back to our basics, massive heat, pressure on the Aints, hard tackles, run and carry, NO loose men, overlap handball , create space. Take Lyons boring flood strangulation style to the cleaners. Time to answer our critics like that slob Robbo, Montagna. and Collingwood haters. Its time tonight.

Magpies by 16 points, lock it in.

Got the makings of a verse there:

Deano’s a bit stiff to get the drop,
But like AJ he’s been reprimanded,
Yet Deano’s game wasn’t a flop,
Like the Hyphen who’s punctuated his standards.
Now lucky Frampton the club selectors did annoint,
And placed Reefer’s fate between his hands,
So I’m calling Pies by 20 points,
And will be cheering from the stands.

Johhny Noble looks forlorn
In his warm-up suit
an emergency once again
Who does he have to root?
But Johnny is a team man
and will stand Nobly by
as the team runs out to face
The thugs from years gone by

The Reefers form is smoking
like a Rastafarian
The umpires must be joking!
it was clearly holding the man
It made no difference to the Reefe
at goal he quickly kicks
and bugger me!
from 45! He's put it through the sticks!

^ FFS that’s frustrating.

It seems ridiculous to be criticising the coaches and match committee after the last two years, but I haven’t been happy with our team selections and subs this year.
