Carlton thumping Geelong is OK for us. Knocks Geelong back, and Geelong is currently one of the teams breaking even with us on the ladder.
The worrying aspect is how dominant Carlscum looked in this demolition. To my mind though, having watched most of the game, Geelong did not look up to the necessary standard. Their pressure looked inferior ( I was shocked at half time when their pressure guage was announced almost equal to that of Carlscum. They had many broken tackles, and Carlscum players waltzing into space too often). In the 3rd quarter, the game lapsed into a stationary wave, as Carlscum were just content to hold Geelong off without making an extra effort).
Happy if Carlscum assume the mantle of "second seed". Means nothing at this point, and we know Voss is very likely to f*** up.
