We get them.on a 6 day turnaround from Perth with hopefully 2 or 3 quality ins.
The Pies are not going anywhere but up from here on.

I'll be on the 24 + points.

Its how we roll now hey! Seriously, post the 1953 GF, which was a very close match, we won, two days later, both our legend ex Coach, McHale, and our wealthy patron, John Wren, both suffered massive heart attacks, cos they both got so worked up and excited, anxious, during the GF. ! :o

Looking at the injury list, thinking JDG, Checkers, and maybe give Long a look? If Pendles is back I'd seriously consider playing him as the sub.

Gold Coast has a total of...2 injuries, one (King) that is listed as test...

I think Long is only just returning from injury as is. I know hes been playing VFL already but you'd want to make sure he was right to go. Also going to be hard to find room for rookies when we have A graders coming back in.

I'd prefer Pendles to start and potentially be subbed rather than the other way around.
It's never as good/nor bad as it seems...

Pendlebury still can't lift/bend his arm. He's not playing in two weeks.

The ins for consideration will be: Mihocek, De Goey, Richards, Markov, Long

The outs for consideration will be: McCrae, Jiath, Sullivan, Noble

We need to get more games into Reef, he's always good for 1-2 goals a game (playing out of position), and he looked GOOD when moving further up the field (clean hands, made the right decisions, a natural mid/wing).

Ben King would be a handy out for them if his knee struggles to come up, he's always good for a minimum 3 goals vs us.

I don’t think they will drop Noble. His recent form has been pretty solid.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

This is a real danger game
The Suns at home are a seriously good side
Loads of weapons
There midfield is good and will need to be contained
Hopefully we get some troops back

Correct weight QM67.

Hopefully the injection of JDG, Checkers and Markov will give us the boost we need to win this one.

I'd be amazed if Ned long got a game, without proving himself first in a couple of VFL games. Then again wtfwik?

Macrae and TJ are the logical outs. I agree with RH that McInnes needs to be persevered with, as he did some very nice things last week, and no doubt needs some continuity to build his confidence. I'm still not completely sold on Reef, but he is certainly beginning to win me over. I'd retain Sullivan, who was important for us in the last quarter against the Roos.

Poor Noble picked the wrong week to play poorly, given Markov's availability. I'd like to find a spot for both of them, but I can't squeeze them both in, given the good form of others.

Hopefully, the return of Checkers to our forward line will enable Fly to return Frampton to defence, where he is our best option at FB.

Pies by 17 pts.

Is it really setting us up for our future to play De Goey ahead of Macrae?

Ben King will not play against Fremantle this week. And will be assessed next week to see if he will be available to play against Collingwood.
