'Andy Murray still hopes he can make the singles court on Tuesday after playing a practice set today. But he has just told @BBCSport
“If I can improve a little bit again tomorrow there’s a chance: but I think it’s more likely I won’t play singles if I’m being honest right now.”'

.......................................................................................................

'Andy Murray and Jamie Murray are set to compete in this year's gentlemen's doubles at Wimbledon after being allocated a wild card for the event.

Andy's participation in The Championships 2024 was cast into doubt after he was forced to retire injured at Queen's Club last week, and subsequently underwent surgery for a spinal cyst issue.
...

While the duo have competed together on a number of occasions for Great Britain in the Olympics and Davis Cup, this would be the first time they have played together at Wimbledon.

Neither Jamie or Andy have won the gentlemen's doubles before, although Jamie reached the final in 2015, and was victorious in the mixed doubles here in 2007 and 2017.'

"Adam Walton has notched several impressive milestones in recent weeks. These include a top-100 debut, a maiden ATP main-draw win, as well as earning direct acceptance into a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.

The 25-year-old from Queensland can now add a first Grand Slam main-draw win to his growing list of achievements.

Walton made his major breakthrough with a commanding 6-3 6-3 7-5 victory against Argentina’s Federico Coria in first-round men’s singles action today at Wimbledon."

^ Kokkinakis withdrew after his win due to injury.

De Minaur is still in the tournament, where he will be playing France's Arthur Fils in the 4th Round tonight.

Iga Swiatek was knocked out in R3...

... and booed off the court.

Apparently for taking a bathroom break...

Sheesh... Djoker, Fed and co. have all pulled that stunt without being booed...

Very convincing win by Alcaraz.

Becomes the first men's player since Andre Agassi in 1999 to win at least 2+ slams in a calendar year that wasn't Federer, Nadal or Djokovic.
