Venue change for tomorrows VFL game.

Will now be at the AIA Centre.

Start time remains the same, 1.05pm.

Not a good venue fpr spectators on a predicted cold & wet day.
Rug up and bring a brolly if you are thinking of going along,

^ That's disappointing. Vic Park would have been more ideal for spectators.

In the AFL that’s only really important when there is money to be made unfortunately

Entry is free to VFL games, so no money being made/lost there.

There are a couple of food trucks at Vic Park on game day (if you are lucky).
Assume the same AIA.

The only money at VFL games is the home canteen if the ground has one

Half time Pies 7.3.45 lead Cats 6.5.41

Pies defence held up well in that qtr as the Cats able to spread and run the ball quicker. Good to have Dean in the team, much needed support for Glover

Pies need to hold some tackles and clean up disposal.

McStay doing OK, playing about 15 minutes each quarter.

Reef is playing, started in forward line, a bit of midfield time in the 2nd. Still looks a bit slow when chasing or running for the ball.

3/4 time, the kittens by 16 pts. Even our seconds have perfected the art of giving up a goal with less than a second left on the clock. Frustrating times
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

No problemo.

3 qtr time, Cats 10.9.69 lead Pies 8.5.53.

Cats too quick and clean with the ball.
Pies struggling to hold any tackles.

Dean went off early in 3rd qtr after head knock in marking contest.
Cats tall forwards taking advantage of Pies short backline.

Smit is trying but being monstered in the ruck by the much more experienced Stanley. Still putting the 2nd efforts though.

Even with Dean back in defence the VFL pies have struggled to transition the ball out beyond HB. That’s the other half of our VFL defensive woes this year. Never can sting that 3rd or 4th possession to a loose player. Can only kick it to a contest and disadvantage our player.

Ash Johnson back out of form. Has one quarter to turn it around.
Allen is everywhere without doing anything, well he seems to be on the edge of the play without getting possessions or impacting the contest anyway.
McStay has taken a couple of nice marks up the ground, good to see.
Macrae has been ok in the middle but really without any support.
Sullivan not really putting his hand up after quarter time
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark

AJ hasn't done much at all.

Allan gets beaten to the ball, pushed off it in contests.

Cats running on top of the ground, Pies looking knackered, spending most of the time chasing.

And the umpires......seriously can't make a decision unless it is captain obviou8
