Tomorrow we are all St Kilda supporters, and Dockers on Sunday.

However, I'm keenly aware I'm depending on two of the flakiest teams in the League to satisfy my schadenfreude.

While we'll inevitably rue the season start and the injury toll that at one stage during May / June saw us with 18* :shock: on the sidelines, we still played a vital role in Essendon & all going well Carlton missing the finals.
We beat Carlton & BNE twice during the H&A, the draw with Essendon on ANZAC day felt like a win and while we didn't defend our 16th flag, neither of those are going ahead of us this year.

Can't leave out captain Kreuger from that list. You could also have Schultz, Jiath and Dean on the bench, all back from concussion. That only leaves johnson as the sub and poor DeMattia is the emergency. What a torrid year

^they weren't on the injury list at the one time. That was the injury list from late May prior to Round 12.

Can I just barrack for Carlton to lose rather than barracking for St Kilda to win?

Carlton have won all of their wooden spoons this century, 5 in total. Next closest will be either North or Richmond because tomorrow one of them will be in 3.

Next year will be their 30th anniversary of sh1tness and now only 2 more years before they become the new Colliwobbles.

Blouse and St.Kilda draw. Freo win. Blouse miss the finals on percentage. I can make it through the finals series and off-season on that alone.

Freo have gassed it. Had their opportunities, couldn’t handle the pressure from port.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

We were so close to playing finals.

All we needed was to either beat Sydney at the SCG two weeks back, or West Coast to beat Carlton last week.
