I feel they are the new threat to the flag this year I feel they might have replaced Richmond as in the top 4 they look menacing any thoughts |

I'm thoroughly unimpressed thus far but that's subject to change. We handed them the Round 1 win, Melbourne could've been beaten by Carlton, that's how bad they played in Round 2. Last night, they played well but I'm not sure how good Adelaide is or isn't. We'll know by Round 8 or 9. |

they've certainly showed some good signs so far but it's only round three and we shouldn't read too much into things. if they get hit with injuries or suspensions then that will alter things. ablett (as good as he can be) can't play a full season and he's not the only one. wait till about round six or so when everyone's settled in then we'll no more. they were stuffed come finals time last year. i'm more than happy for the focus to be on them though cos it's less pressure on us and i'd love another crack at them in a GF! |

I never count these scumbags out.
However we handed them round 1, they didn’t have any major outs, they didn’t have a hang over, and they seem to have a mental edge, I felt they played far closer to their best, where as we were pretty yuk. They should have nailed us to the cross. I’m not too concerned yet, tbh, what happens tomorrow night I’d my only focus.
We go5 to get there before we worry about who to beat. And I hate seeing that scumbag teams name on its own thread! Unless it’s a essendrug thing, _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

They barely beat us in Rd 1. Is Bomber back at Geelong? Their debutant players look like they've had a few pre-seasons in the gym already. |

"Can't"? There's so much randomness that it's very hard to say that any reasonable team can't. And the competition may still be in the Window of Mediocrity. |

far too early, we were awful against em, they were little better, the deees, down at their pissing ground were woeful, but still got seventy four inside fifties, that's unreal, still lost badly. The crows are very overrated, we beat em over there last yr by heaps, very average. Pussies are front runners, long season by golly, id love to play em next week, be very bloody different game, to last time, long way to go, jury is out on em. cant win the flag, nope. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Fair enough.
I just think as the season goes on, they'll fall away. I could end up being wrong. Maybe I'm calling it early?
OP jumping the gun is more to the point. But there's a few threads going round. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Make no mistake, they can win it.
I didnt think they could earlier on, but the can from here.
Injuries can halt any teams progress, but they are our biggest threat at the moment. As we are theirs. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I expect geelong to get tested somewhat as the season unfolds that's when they will probably drop off marginally |
