Ed, if ya still reading this and the Cold Toast deal never gets off the ground, could ya possibly do something about the Perth ticketing fiasco.
We can never get tickets because they are sold to all the ferals in Perth and none are left for any Magpie supporters who want to fly over for the game against Wet Toast. Simply put, the ticketing arrangements SUCK!!

This very topic was on SEN today, I am astounded at the very few who think playing up in QLD is a bad idea.
As long as our jumper has BLACK AND WHITE vertical stripes & our name is the COLLINGWOOD FOOTBALL CLUB & MAGPIES, who gives a toss where we play?

we all trust ed wont screw us if i had the inkling we wil be playing home games at the GC there would be a fire that wouldnt be put out.
But i know that Ed, eugene and the rest of the board wont screw us and send us away and im sure thats what most other supporters are thinking as well

Hi Eddie,
Wonderful to have you enlighten us some moe.
I hate the thought of Kangas getting mega bucks to go the same road as Bris-yuk did and potentially win 3 flags in a row off the back of the AFL fund, but we need to make sure we are not left open to being sucked into going "all the way" with Carrara "hey".
I'm sure you'll do the best for us.
What about making Ponsford stand exclusively black and white next year for our games.--nothing worse than sitting next to some turkey in rival colours when you've paid for reserved seating in "our" stand??
Keep doing a great job. We LOOOOOVE you ED, you tha man!! Looking forward to the AGM when we salute you and the board and the boys for a great job AGAIN.

For some of us interstaters this is as close as we'll get to talking to Eddie and in all honesty it's quite exciting to be able to do so.
To know someone you respect as much as our club president may very well read your post and possibly gain something (hopefully positive) from that, is great.
On a personal note can someone at the club buy Maxwell a set of number plates for him to wear on the field. That way when he tackles the opposition the phrase "who was driving that bus" will be apt  .
