Personally, if he serves his the time then I don't really have an issue with him coming back as such. The cheat from Adelaide who cooked the books re lying about Tippett's money - is now at Carlton isn't he?

When Pert appointed him in May, he signed a stat dec saying that he had done nothing wrong at GWS and there was no issue for him to deal with. Now he's accepted a 12 month ban for breaching AFL/ASAADA rules. He either lied then or he's lying now. Either way, his credibility is shot. |

Allen is a legend of the game and our Club! He should not have to sit out for 12 months. He certainly doesn't need people on this site pissing in his pocket like some of the usual spivs I read in this thread. I want him back to take over as President. So stick that up your backsides!

I'm pretty sure that Ed said that he would NOT be offered the job when his suspension was done effectively telling him to walk as he lied to the club about his involvement. I think Ed was merely looking for official confirmation that he had lied to the club. I don't think the board or Ed have anything to be feeling nasty or silly about.The Grub Lied in his job application in the hope it would all just wash away, but it didn't. |
