| I heard that we are wearing no jumpers at all so that the Brisbane players cant grab our jumpers.I heard that the jumpers were to be painted on.Personally I think that this is ridiculous. |

OK I`ll do the washing of the jumpers this week!

Strange that Mr J actually suggested the paint on jumpers some time ago.
And the push ups on fingertips to strengthen hands for marking the ball.
[i think the latter has been used.]
But back to the topic...........does anyone know what Collingwood are wearing??

Mr J who never behaves is a looker but rarely a poster on Nicks.......also my partner, who has loads of thinking out of the square theorys.
Very strange how his mind works, but he is never boring.......and truely never behaves!

For those who don't know, it is 'Heritage Week' for all AFL clubs. That means that have to wear a jumper from a long time ago. Sort of a similar idea to the centenary jumpers that were worn a while back.
BTW, I don't think the Lions are using the old Fitzroy jumper. Remember they wanted Collingwood to pay for them to wear them? |

| I remember reading an article about this some time ago - I think we are wearing our old lace up guernsy or at least a very old jumper from some time back ( personally I dont think it is the lace up job) and lions will wear on old Fitzroy jumper. I think its a great idea actually. This article was saying that they hope to get a lot of the 'old' Fitzroy people to the game (who have not jumped on the Brisbane bandwagon). Personally I dont want to see too many old Fitzroy supporters there, but my partner who is one of those old Fitzroy members (who refused to support the Brisbane lions - but has slowly come around-hahaha - I love to stir him about that but thats another story!!) is coming to the footy with me on Sat - so maybe the heritage jumper thing might work for some ol time supporters. Dont care what we wear as long as we win! |

Fancy wanting us to pay for them to wear the jumper.
They should feel priviliged to wear it.
