Jason Cloke believes that his two brothers may follow him into the famous black & white of Collingwood under the AFL’s father and son rule.
Cloke, who made his AFL debut in round two against West Coast, followed his father David to the Pies under the father and son option, choosing Collingwood over Richmond. Cloke told afl.com.au’s the big ask that his two brothers have the potential to follow suit.
“One of (my brothers) is 17 and he is around 6’ 6” and the other is 14 and around 6’ 3”,” Cloke said of his younger siblings.
“Both can run and around and both can get a kick. One is at the Eastern Ranges under-18s at the moment and both are going alright. They both have the opportunity to play AFL football.”
David Cloke played 114 with Collingwood and a further 219 with the Tigers. He was runner up in the 1984 Brownlow Medal and was a member of the 1974 and 1980 premiership teams. Jason was selected under the father and son rule in the 2000 draft.
