Round Robin forum footy!

Ok guys.
Forget the 2 other threads on the forum footy, this is the real one. if possible can someone delete the other 2?

November 8th there is a round robin competition between, Saints-Pies-Dees-Blues.
The first game will start at 12pm but has not been confirmed who the first two teams will be. People from all teams will start rocking up from 11-11.30 to have a bit of a kick and chat. If you have never played or are thinking about it i highly recommend you do, it’s an awesome day and get to meet some of the people you have been chatting to over the forum.

The plan for the day is:
12.00 Game 1
12.40 Game 2
1.20 losers of game 1 and 2
2.00 winners of game 1 and 2
BBQ and drinks will be after the games. it isn’t exactly BYO but what we have done in the past is a group of people put up their hand to bring say 10 snags or burgers each, others bring drinks, and of course we need the bread and sauce

Of course you don’t have to stay for the bbq but would be great to meet you all.

post below if you can make it and closer to the day we will do a number check and see if we need any ring ins. please don’t bring 8 if your mates a long so there ends up being a 20 man bench! People who are members of the forum get first priority for playing, male or females!

We should make this as a Season 2010 opener celebration as the next day the lads hit the track for preseason.

Where are we playing? Vic Park is in very good nick at the moment but resurfacing will start very shortly and I doubt there will be any grass on her by November 8th.

Gosch's Paddock is 'policed' by the Olympic Park Trust.

Most other grounds will be used for Criggit.

I will get a firm date on Vic Park resurfacing from YCC and see if we can squeeze in for Nov 8th.

November 8 is the one round the Diamond Valley Cricket Association has decided on making a Sunday round.
