Too much time wrestling with McKenzie last night. Didn't think he was tripled teamed like others often suggest either.
A poor work rate I thought was his own worst enemy.
Thankfully he got in front in the final term and got a couple of marks.
His tall forward mate was similarly ineffective.
I wouldn't drop him. He takes a defender or two and allows others to have an easier time of it. Let's see how things go with Reid back in the team.

And you would have been right if there was a genuine alternative. As it is, with Reid still out and White not firing, we need him for team structure, regardless of his form.
We are playing St Kilda this week. If there's any opportunity to turn is form around in the ones, the next few games are the ones to do it in. |

I'm going to cut him some slack. It was only last year he took more contested marks than anyone else and was 2nd in overall marks. Unfortunately he led with 14 more behinds too but still only missed the Coleman by 2 goals.
He appears to be in a bit of a slump but we're still a better team with him in it than out. We need to accept he's never going to be an accurate kick for goal, but maybe he needs to work on how to cope with the manhandling he receives. That's what seems to be beating him this year.

Seriously? Neither of them are genuine forward threats. They'll need to improve their contested marking a hell of a lot before they could even be considered. Face it Dave. Cloke is in until Reid returns at an absolute minimum. |

Reid won’t Play Forward he go Back as Brown will be gone for the Year.
Maybe if They Spent Time up Forward more it would Improve

Regardless of his form, Cloke still attracts the opposition's best defender. If he is not there, Grundy, or Witts would get the best defender. How do you think they would go?

For what its worth, I just think a one week spell in the VFL might do Trav a lot of good right now, try to get some confidence and his mojo back again. Free him up a bit. Why not relegate him for one week, and give this Karnevis a go, or even Kyle Martin, see how they handle it, we are only playing the Aints, time for a bit of experimentation. Give Trav a run in the magoos to get back his form, may well fire him up.
