Gault was a rock, but KK is a sledgehammer!

Gault was Whitesnake, the Kirbinator is more ZZ Top...

"In more positive news, Buckley said exciting first-year draftee Kayle Kirby the VFL's leading goalkicker was a chance to make his AFL debut against the Demons."

"Kirby, 18, is an intriguing prospect. The powerful medium-sized forward has kicked a VFL-high 42 goals in 16 games, however there are doubts about his conditioning for AFL level."

"He's shown some great signs for us. One-on-one in the air or on the ground he's rarely beaten, and he's got great goalsense," Buckley said.

"His development has been fantastic. He's tipped himself into it and bought into the program. He's gone from a player who's been a bit of a Hail Mary, to be honest, to a player who's got the scope to come into the AFL and have a hit of an impact.

"Whether it's next week or whether it's next year is going to be up to opportunity and up to him and us."

The only newbie at collingwood I know that could have the X factor. Bring it on.

I'd love to see him play next week against Melbourne.

Give him a taste for senior footy, which in turn will make him more determined to break into the team leading into 2018.

I hope he does, but I didn't think Bucks was actually suggesting he'd play this week. In fact, I thought he was actually suggesting it would more likely be next year.

A gut tickle he delivered to an opponent being reviewed by MRP. Could be sanctioned and miss according to AFL.com. He wears black and white stripes so it's a strong possibility!

Could be right RB and on the Agenda Jay Clarke wants it too but Christo said
"And rob him of the chance to win Frosty Miller goal kicking medal (think he is level on goals with another player)

Clarke countered by saying "Give him a taste of MCG and big occasion then let him digest that over the break"

Hope it makes him hungrier than ever

The VFL is 'investigating' an alleged off the ball gut punch that nobodysaw that may see him cop a fine or ... a one match suspension!
