selfish play in the first quarter costs us 4 goals
second quarter we were undisciplined and untidy and if we don't shut down the lose ball then shut don there run we look done for.

I’d rather we bomb to an essendon player inside F50 than piss fart around and lose it on the wing.

Any danger of a centre square clearance? Buckley is a DUMB ass coach. Had a chance to insert jdg in the guts for final few mins to lock down a 5 goal lead and instead allows our morons in the ball to puss fart around with hand balls instead of smashing the ball inside 50. It’s 66 for crying out loud. Just smash the ball forward!!! Christ. WHE play on DUMB. Moore good mark, bombs to a one on two at half forward. Where the F is our composure. We were cruising at +33 even though we had a crap second quarter. And just like that, GONE!!!

Stephenson is to blame for that last goal.
Had the perfect opportunity to lay a tackle within our forward 50 but didn't extend himself in the early part of the chase.
Does my head in when our forwards do that as it happens all to often.
Wasted multiple opportunities that quarter to bury them because of dumb disposal going inside f50.
Essendon now back in the game.

Serves us right. Maybe a loss is what it will take to kick these fools up the arse. I guess blowing a five goal lead in a GF a wasn’t enough for them to switch on in similar big game circumstances.
Total domination and all we have to show is a 2.3 lead.

It seems to me and I think others have noticed it too, is that we often have a flat spot late in the second quarter. I wonder if it's because we spring out of the starting box and then run out of a little gas towards half-time? |

Thomas needed to just scrub the ball forward as far as he could with a kick.
Much rather a deliberate out of bounds well inside our forward 50 than what transpired.
de Goey to be unleashed more in the midfield come the second half is my guess.
