Guess I'm more in touch with being a vindictive arsehole than you are. Cool

Much as I'd like to agree, Stui, well ... I thought of that option, of course, but reckoned the other way about - the almighty, unmissable screwup - was just so much more Richmond. Smile

No worries though, it's all good.

had lunch today with my son's ex and my grandson. My daughter and mum were there as well.

Little bloke was cool, haven't seen him for a couple of weeks, took all of 3 seconds to get a grin out of him.

Also daughter called over tonight, didn't eat but took dinner home. Damn I must have done something right, probably by accident, there. She really has her head screwed on and is a good person to boot. Dunno how that happened but I like it.

Son is living alone for the first time in his adult life at age 27. Struggling with it, but one comment from the daughter bought a smile to mum and told me if the penny hasn't actually dropped it's on it's way down the chute. His house is immaculate. He was so pissed off at the filthy state his ex left the house in I'm so happy his response is to keep it clean. He had a habit of picking GF's who would want to make themselves needed by doing shit for him, so he could be a lazy prick. Great to see him finally doing stuff for himself. I trained him to be self sufficient, now he finally has to use it.

Yeah, several of my best mates are Tigers supporters, and they've endured a lot over a long period. Really pleased for them.

There's nothing to be happy about.

I feel sick...

Same here. A lot of people are feeling very happy tonight. That knowledge is more satisfying to me than any schadenfreude could have been (if it had been Carlton, however, it might have been a different story... Razz).

Spent the weekend up at the new holiday house. Really happy with it, bathroom and other stuff is a lot netter than I remembered from inspection, had it functionally liveable within 36 hours which included some op shop furniture for the lounge room and getting a bloke in to fix the TV antenna.

Overall settled in quickly and had a relaxing time. Restumping is going to be the biggest priority, followed by painting but it's perfectly habitable now. Very Happy
