ok, ok... does this work for anyone?

Quote:
Pick 16, Treloar + Phillips to Hawks for Picks 4 + 45.

Future 1st to Bulldogs for Pick 14.

Pick 14 to GWS for Jye Caldwell.

Leaving us with pick 4.

Pick 39, 42 and 45 (Enough for Reef bids).

Pick 75, to either use or trade for a bargain basement c-grade type. (Kelly? Jetta? etc). ?

Pick 92 to, I dunno, pass? Laughing ?

Keeping Stevo.
(Option to talk to Suns about pick 5)

Avoiding Essendon trade.

Freeing cap space.

Still in need of a genuine FF. X

I always thought Billy Gowers showed a bit of go, but would be playing for Checkers spot you'd think

And what to do with Brayden Sier?

Persist with him? Move him on?

We took him at a very young age and has now been at the club for 5 seasons. He spent the first 2 years developing in the VFL before making his debut in his third season, where he ended up playing in the GF.

His 2019 and 2020 were hit by injury and a bit of a controversy (Phil Inn). Rupert Wills was able to phil inn for Sier in this time, but he too may be looking at his options right now.

So what do we do? Trade Sier & keep Wills? Delist Wills & keep Sier? Keep both? or Trade Sier & delist Wills?

If we were to make a trade, could we look to the Suns Will Brodie who has had a similar start to his career? He was a #9 draft pick, but has had hamstring injury problems and has not been able to break in to their team. With only one game in 2020, is the writing on the wall? Maybe we'd be better off keeping Sier there?

What do you think?

One reason people want to trade Trelor is hamstring problems why recruit another?

For pick 75.

I'd be all for it if he was a tad younger.

The way we're trading and with the players retiring, Brayden Sier won't have anyone accompanying him in the rehab group next year. It's going to be lonely for him doing laps on his own at Holden Centre so I suggest we trade him and save the $400,000 towards Treloar's salary.

I hope we don’t trade any future picks as we could get the number one pick next year!

It seems that instead of getting picks for Treloar to build our future, we’ll send them to Hawthorn for someone older than Treloar

Add in Jetta and may as well make Collingwood the AFL retirement destination

So here we are in limbo land - I think the one in we're all expecting is a key forward... but who? Cameron is going to Geelong, Hogan to GWS, Brown to Melb, 2mpeter Essendon and it appears we've gone cold on McDonald..??! Carlton have talked to McCartin - ?? So who? Who is it going to be - what is the club going to do?

Just wonder if Casboult is in the mix? Carlton is flush with young forwards, at 30 years of age he can't be part of their future plans.
At 6'7 he's versatile and could be used as a relief ruckman.
A sideways move at best but it wouldn't surprise me if this was tabled at some stage.

Any chance MBFC can take over the trading for the rest of the week?

Sounding like it might be the Swans who revive McCartins career.

If I did, the only two I'd definitely trade out is Ned Guy and Geoff Walsh. I'd have an open mind about Phillips and Sier and draw a line through trading Treloar, Stephenson and Cox. Gunston would be a disaster but I wouldn't put it past the imbeciles in charge of list management at Collingwood to pursue him in a straight swap for Treloar.
