I know people who know the Buzz and they say he a master football brain who could coach any club to a flag. I also wanted Gary Sidebottom, but the club never even wanted to talk to him. I also recommended David Cloke or at least they should have spoken with Don Scott.

Gold Hiss... at the moment any and all light-heartedness is refreshing.

Hiel Eddie...

dissenters will disappear into the abyss...

maybe eddie's reich will only last ten years before he goes into the bunker and will watch pay per view as the moron had the audacity to say on the weekend...

is that really good for the game or another deal you'd like to orchestrate like the television rights you helped become the debacle they are now?

what about the supporters eddie?????
and as for comparing us to manchester united...that's crap!!!!!!!

your big head is showing a lot of empty space...

but no...i love Collingwood and would never give them up...

Ed has his flaws, to be sure, but I suspect you just identified your own instead of his.

i love the collingwood football club, and i do like MM....
but the time has come for him to leave at years end, no matter where we finish on the ladder.
but there is only so many games i can sit through, playing the flanks, piss fiddleing around with the ball.... i dare say i would no attend as many games, and would down grade my membership to a less entrie to games...

Profoundly disappointing thread.

If you don't like the President, campaign against him. If you don't like the Coach, write to the President. If he doesn't do what you want (and he won't) campaign against him.

But you never walk away!!!

During the long 32 years between 1958 and 1990 we had some awful Presidents (e.g. Ern Clarke, Ranald McDonald) and some doubtful coaches (Murray Weideman, John Cahill) We also had two coaches who should have won Premierships in Bob Rose and Tommy Hafey - I think Mick has more in common with Hafey than Cahill.

We complained and some people agitated against Clarkes and McDonald's but we didn't talk about leaving the club.

Profoundly disappointing thread!!

^ yes, it really is disappointing considering some of the times our club has been through in the past. People must have extremely short memories if they consider this to be our lowest ebb, or some kind of crisis.

I follow Collingwood, so no matter what they do or who they sign or sack I will follow them regardless.

I'll follow the Pies until the day I die, however, if MM gets a contract extension me and my whole family will not bother renewing our Legends Memberships. I'm already starting to get bored watching us play.

I can understand your frustration Collingwood Turtle, but I'd be surprised if you would walk away from our club entirely, it's in your blood, it's tattooed to your soul.

I'll support Collingwood no matter what. I wont agree with the decision to reappoint Mick (if He is), but I will still support the team on the field.

As for Mick, his time has come to an end at Collingwood. The slop that is served up at the moment has to end. It's like watching Collingwood on repeat after FKN repeat, year after year. The same mistakes, the same pathetic style, it's got to stop.

The team needs a new direction, and that'll come with a new coach at the end of the year.

Go the Pies
