1. Umpires killed the Pies in the first quarter by awarding 10 free kicks to Carlscum. Is that a record???? This effectively stopped what should have been a six goal lead to the Pies.
2. The Judd-Umpire love affair continues...maybe Judd was in the top 5 for the game .. but not the top 3 - therefore should not get ANY Brownlow votes.
3. Great win despite the shocker week off the field and a fairly average game from some players.
4. Carlscum won't win a final in 2011. |

Tannin, Rounds would have learnt a lot but Garlett is too quick, nimble & lithe for Rounds. Horses for courses. Rounds has some if not many skills, but quick, nimble & lithe are not are not part of them.
It would be to the clubs detriment if they selected Rounds to play on Garlett IMO.

Yes, I agree. But, in a way, I thought the message they were really sending to the Blooz with their team selection was "We can play 4 inexperienced kids in our team and leave premiership players in the seconds by choice, and still win every quarter against you." |

It's always good to beat the Bloose but to beat them twice in the same season is fanfrickentastic!
I reckon we will have to play them again on our way to the flag this year which will mean we will have beaten them three times in the same season...........has this ever been done before?? surely not in recent history.

Oh FFS. 
First I said the way Swan is playing (his pathetic disposal and lack of influence in the game) he is turning into a hack. Yes, it was tongue in cheek, but the point is that if you want one moment in the game that shows Dane Swan is NQR at the present, it was when he waited for that ball to come to him to mark in the goal square. The Scum player intercepted and an easy goal was mucked up. The oldest rule in footy is go to the ball, don't wait for it!
I don't know whether it's his body or his head, but Dane Swan is in career worst form at the moment. Of course he can snap out of it. But he needs a wake up call. |

I reckon Fasolo looks the goods; give him a few weeks play rather than being the sub and he could show something. just looks the right sort, and a beautiful kick

Particularly against Jolly. Amazing what he can do that draws a free against him , when its done to him is simply play on [and he usually has the WTF face on too]. Drives me nuts, must drive him crazy.
