Came back as intentional, low impact and to the body. Normally a 1 week sanction, but good record means he can cop a $600 fine and a reprimand with an early plea...

Seriously? One day we have a coach saying nope, we're going to let him chase the Frosty medal, then the next he's playing at the G in the seniors? When did Reid pull up sore? Or is this more of poor organization, planning or whatever the disarray our club is in?

Does it matter?
He may have been a bit sore after training or had a niggle and wanted to wait until this morning to see how he felt. Given Benders history it is not unreasonable that they are being cautious even if it is the last game.
Kayle could have been the back up plan all along, just don't see the need to give anything away.
Be interesting to see how we go with a smaller forward set up, albeit with Grundy/Cox playing forward. Hopefully we can spoil the Dees finals chances.

Or maybe a guy pulled up sore and withdrew so the emergency came in? 🙄
I think he'd rather debut on the G then win some meaningless medal. Either way let's blame the coach.

I just think after a some what disappointing an frustrating season a little excitement for the Magpie army to close out the year
And if the kid produce,s a blinder we leave the G with some thing to hang our hat on for 2018
