How could we play so well this week and so crap last week?

Its been happening for 5 years, push the top teams, sometimes get an upset win then play shit against the bottom sides and lose

If you could pick which Collingwood is going to show up you could be a multi millionaire by now just betting on Collingwood games

So if we had one in the games we were favourite we would do doing ok. If. If. If.

I liked the player coming back off the back square.
The big question was Reid.
I didn't mind him starting off up forward, but I would not have done it.
But I thought half way thru the second quarter he should have been sent back
Anyway, I will probably never get excited or even care much until we get a new coach.

I honestly think he's chasing his tail a bit, Reid was pivotal down back last week. But, if all was well with the club and our team was 'settled' optimally you'd have him forward. Sidebottom is another case in point as we saw tonight.

At 2-6, we'd need to finish the season 11-3 to make the finals. That means winning 78% of our games when our current win rate over the past 50 games is 40%.

Yeah....NAH!!!

I was thinking the same - send Reid back, but I couldn't think of who to replace him with - Howe?

There's 14 games left in the season.

We'd need to win 10 of them.

That might put us in 7th or 8th spot.

It's not looking good for Nathan right now.

Ben didn't hit the scoreboard but he did provide a target.

Meanwhile Dunn & Goldsack were brilliant in defence.

Yes, Cameron was excellent in the first half and Patton come into it late but at the end of the day DeGoey missed an absolute sitter and that was the difference.

Oh, btw Blair missed one earlier. Rolling Eyes

Same basic stuff in his press conference, but, I must admit I did enjoy listening to the last 30 seconds when he talked about Lou and the club.

Spud: "I think Bucks is coaching well. They played the supposed best team in the comp and should have won. The players are playing for him."

Scott Lucas: "Collingwood just lack that polish and class. Everything else is fine."

I think bucks' comments in the box straight after the final siren some it up best "We're always $£$%^%%$ about when the pressure comes on and we kick to $£$%^%%$ contests"... And after 6 years nothing's changed. The message doesn't get through. Plain and simple
