Are you going to let the club,trade pick 14 to get darren jolly,a ruckman,
And sit and watch sydney the trade it over to Carlton,to get a coleman medalist.
Are you serious,We kick 1 goal in a half of footy against geelong,and you think darren jolly is the answer.
My god,you call your self a collingwood,passionate man.
Every year we go the cheap way,getting cheap players,that simply dont get us to the big one.
If this deal falls through and fevola stays a blue,so be it.
But if you allow another team to get fevola,this one is on you.
You can sit in the stands,like all barrackers do,and your head will explode,thinking.
I should have moved heaven and hell,to get brendon fevola.

Apparently the big problem is Fev and Alex (wife) - Fev doesn't want to go to the Swans and Alex does not want to relocate in Sydney.

This leaves the Pies in pole position and I think that is why all other Pies trades are all in a holding pattern.

If they can get Fev for #14 he will be 1st prioirity, Jolly 2nd and Ball 3rd.

Swans wish that the Fev's wanted to go there (so do the Blues) but they don't.

you raise good points.... very good ones...

as i am not a felova fan and do not EVER want to see him pull on the black and white... he would give us just that missing option up forward.

to me, i would rather see fraser and wood play in the ruck, no jolly.

and make a deal with pick 14 for luke ball if possible.

i am sure eddie and the collingwood board offiicial's and what not will do all they can to increase the chances of a premiership.

they are on our side and doing there best

Do you honestly believe Eddie has anything to do with who we do and dont trade or go after. For goodness sakes guys, he is the pres not the head of football. Take a chill pill and wake the f--k up Witty.

dont be surprised if we dont land anything, remember we have a recent history of NEVER securing any decent players druing trade week..

I wish we could get fevola, jolly and ball.. aquiring the trio would make us a very dangerous team.. i watch with eager anticipation.. it would be a dream to land all three.. lets see what we can do.. i hope we dont mess this up

The only way we will get all three is if we pick up another 1st rd pick. At this point, the only quality Collingwood player being mentioned as trade bait is Leon.

But who would give us a 1st rd pick for him? The only possibility there would be Port, if they were to get another 1st rounder from Hawthorn.

Therefore, as I see it the Hawks Port Deal is holding everyone else up. If it were to happen, I reckon we'd get the following:

Fev from Carlton for pick 9, which we receive from Port for Leon.

We then trade pick 14 to Swans plus Goldsack for Jolly.

We then trade pick 30 plus a player(???????) to the Saints.

We end up with: Fev, Jolly, Ball.
We lose: pick 14, pick 30, Leon, Goldsack and another player (maybe Josh???)

Consider this if Eddie wasn't talking to Fev would we even be in his calculations?

Also calling someone a half wit on a situation you are not involved in is a bit harsh

now "picks" means more then 1 and "players" means more then 1 as well.

who cares if we trade or not...

im quite happy with the pies current list.. (blood players),
lets give away the farm for a player or 2 (with 3 years left) .. silly..

on our terms or walk away.
