How many points for a field goal?

Might be an interesting tactic to just get Sav trying to slot thru field goals if they are worth enough to make it worthwhile. Afterall this is a guy who sits 12th on the alltime goalkicking list with almost 750 career goals.

... can the Punter go for a field goal?

Wiki tells us:

"Punters are also kickers and naturally understand kicking mechanics better, such as knowing how far back to lean the ball, and being a better judge on whether or not to abort a field goal attempt ... Many punters also double duty as kickoff specialists as most punters have been at one point field goal kickers as well and some, such as Craig Hentrich, have filled in as worthy backup field goal kickers."

Thanks mate but I probably wasn't specific enough.

Normally if they go for a field goal, they do the snap thingy to someone who holds the ball for someone else to bang it with a place kick, whereas in Rugby (union) a player can have a go with a drop kick from anywhere during play, but it has to be a drop kick not a punt kick.

I suppose my question is, would Sav be allowed to kick a drop punt thru the uprights for a score or do field goals need to be done as a place kick?

Thats awesome Presti, how much did that set you back. Geez I may have to change my allegiance from the San Diego Chargers to Philly.......My uncle who lives in San Diego wont send me any more gear though...... Sad
Oh well he eventually got over the fact I followed Phoenix in the NBA.

I've heard that Philly fans beat up on the children of opposition fans when they lose, especially at home.

Any truth in that rumour?

I'm here....I'm here....

Not a good start for my Eagles but I have to keep faith and hope they return to form.

They started off 0-2 a couple years ago and ended up 12-4.

Sav is doing well thus far. No mistakes.

The Eagles have alot to fix...

Go EAGLES!
