My early tip for the Windies still holds. 20/1 is a bit of value with Gayle in.

sb have a stages-of-elimination market for each team.
For the Windies:
Group Stages 1.33 [66%]
Semi Final 4.33 [20%]
Runner Up 11.00 [8%]
Winners 15.00 [6%]

And it's started!

SA won toss, elected to field.

Tahir opens the bowling! Bairstow first-ball duck! Smile

"It's all happening."

Will this be a spinners' WC? That'd be far better than a flat-track bully batsmen's WC (which has been the England plan for the last 3 years).

But they're still hooning along at more than a run a ball, so let's not get our hopes up too early...

The game is way too far in favour of the bat, at the moment. The ball is not moving, at all and the wicket is just so true. It's hard to believe this is cricket in England in Spring. They're playing back-foot lofted drives over the off-side field without moving their feet because the ball is not deviating at all.

And everyone's favourite British cricketer, Ben Stokes, strides to the crease.

Two sixes in a row from Morgan and Stephen Fry is looking very impressed, there, in the crowd.

To get 350, they need 10 r.p.o.

Hmm.... Favourite? No. British? No. Cricketer? Yes --- but lucky not to be ex-cricketer jailbird.

Morgan just makes me very angry. You shouldn't throw teammates under the bus like he did.
