With a cold wet day in the offing we should see old style tight in the contests and low scoring football. They will try to lock it down, so setting the challenge for us to show we are better than them at that sort of game as well as the quicker transition stuff. Expect to see bits of that as we get them on the rebound from defence for the over the top goals. We have become much better at that since early last year.
Happy for Wills to get back to the senior side. It's taken a long time and a credit to his commitment. Here's hoping for another midfield option here in times to come.

No, Nothing. Very strange.
This weeks episode of 'The Swoop' on the Collingwood website makes no mention of him. Zip. Zilch. Even after saying "a couple of our biggest names won't be taking on Carlton..." the Beams name is not mentioned.

I agree, they aren't, but im still bit worried, like no cox, no beams, no taylor adams, they have near full side don't they aside from cripps. I cant see us smashing them, we should but we bloody wont, they will annoy the shit outa us, for three qtrs., but, but we should come home hard, by around four goals, but not much more. Blues r on rebound too, we need to be very damn careful, for sure.

These things make me nervous:
1. Eddie's mouth providing incentive for the Blues just before they play us.
2. Pies injuries and missing players.
3. Supporter hubris and no doubt player hubris too. How many of them will walk out tomorrow expecting to just win.
Been around long enough to see us lose games like this.

Okay.
We'll win by 30 goals, De Goey and Mihocek will kick 10 goals each, Pendles will have 70 disposals and Carlton won't register a score until the 20 minute mark of the last quarter.
Langdon will play the greatest game ever which will be remembered for generations so he will be installed as captain for life as a reward for his efforts and as per P4S' wishes.
