That’s terrible. Shame it wasn’t his leader.

Gladys is doing a brilliant job so far, testing number are off the charts, positive results going down, she loosened up for Christmas then tightened up straight after. An intelligent leader showing great leadership and a nuanced approach, trusting her health team and treating adults like adults.

There's always a problem with this type of virus, too many dumbarses and her lack of madatory mask wearing. Glady's brilliant job has led in part to the virus spreading not just in NSW but now Victoria and QLD.

If she'd only lockdown harder, quicker and longer then we would not be in this current mess

Thanks, Gladys. We're heading back towards lockdown, now.

Yeah blame Gladys for Dan overreacting again.

NSW didn’t need to lockdown an entire state when Victoria’s out of control outbreak spread to them. They stopped it with a competent health department.

Victoria’s overreactions just say they have no faith in their so called improved processes that are the best in the country.

Border should have been shut straight away. We went soft because of Christmas and are paying the price now.

Up here in NSW we're a tad more subtle and nuanced. We were able to consider the economy and people's mental health and manage things without needing to lockdown the state, mandating masks or even needing to declare a state of emergency.

We have good leadership, great health services including contact tracing and we can trust our teams and treat people like adults. None of these things apply in Victoria hence reaching for the 1 wood of restrictions as soon as there's an issue Razz

Gotta love Jacinta, much like Dan she doesn’t realise there are border communities that rely on services on both sides of the border. But instead we’re shutting the border hard and we’ll worry about the how we’ll do it at another time...

From the ABC’s blog:

Fkn incompetent useless pack of cnuts cant trust themselves to manage a handful of cases so out comes the 1 wood and slam the border shut, messing with thousands of people who had to suffer through months of lockdown due to their incompetence.

FMD talk about using a sledgehammer to swatch a fly., they should be lined up and shot, resuscitated then shot again

NSW should have done the same. Pathetic that we’re putting up with the consequences of that State’s ineptitude.

You seriously need an enema.

NSW managed the hotel quarantine for the country, dealt with the occasional cluster while staying largely open for business. They have faith in their people, systems and processes and Victoria clearly has no faith in theirs despite the spruiking.

Compare the locally transmitted cases and deaths for each state and its clear where the ineptitude is.

Yes, in Victoria we have to manage the NSW spread. I mean how incompetent can Gladys be to not have locked the northern beaches down straight away and to not mandate the wearing of masks.

Her lack of responsibility has meant that other leaders like the twice elected Premier of Victoria the right honourable Daniel Andrews have had to step up and fill the leadership void she’s left.

Gladys failed to contain it.
