We played well for 2 quaters today. We seem to struggle in the last 5 minutes of each quater.

If Taz plays this week we'll beat Port. And Tarkyn can't be too far away either. A corner was turned today!

Don't forget Bucks & Magic who I think will be rushed back into the side to play Port, as he has a good history against them.

Lets have a look at it realistically. We need to be close to even at the half way mark of the season to have a chance of making the eight. Our next 6 rounds are as follows:
Port - More than likely a loss away from home.
Carlton - Should be able to win this one.
St Kilda - On current form, more than likely a loss.
Adelaide - Should be a win at home.
Kangaroos - Should be able to win this one.
West Coast - Should be a win at home.
Therefore we should be 5-6 at the half way point of the season. There is not a lot of margin for error but if we can beat either port or St Kilda which are two teams we have a great record against in recent years, we may even be 6-5. From there, I have marked 8 games that I think we can win. The others are touch and go.

Couldnt agree more, waiting for the Tab to list flag betting.

Have faith, when we get our full list back we will be a great side and players will have to fight for position. Thats something we are lacking now, blooding kids will help us and we wont be sore bodies come round 22.
Turn the corner 6/6 and we will fly home.

GO PIES

Magic? If you mean Leon? The only reason he would be called magic is because he does a good disapearing act on the ground? If you are relying on him to be back in the side we are in more trouble than I thought.

Leon should be traded. Plays 3 exciting games a season and even then is not exceptional. Useless in big games.
Jason Cloke only plays well when he's not playing on somebody, what does that say about him?
OBree might be worth keeping but should not be playing regular senior footy. He is reasonable when in form. Keep him off the forward line. We have plenty of good little guys that can perform consistently better than him.
Shaw is as good a player as Tony was a coach. The Shaw legends have come and gone. This guy is dragging them down.

Lets collect that spoon and trade these 4 for 1 consistently good centre-half back/forward.

So the money I was saving up for finals tickets I can use on a new pair of shoes?

He DID lift in round 2 before injury and I expect him to pick up from where he left off. AND he does torment Pot so he's a possibility for this week I'd have thought.

Very true. 6-6 or 6-5 would mean we can easily make the top 5, possibly 4. But I'm not going to talk finals JUST yet...
