He says an emphatic NO to any player that is linked to Hawthorn.
Said the same thing about Ottens, Whitnall, Obree, Harding, R.Lonie...
According to his theory, they dont want players unless they are EXCEPTIONAL talents.

That won't happen. Dermie said last night that he wouldn't go after Lonie, this was after a caller asked him why the Hawks hadn't gone after Lonie. Dermie said there was no point, they play the same position, and they will just cannibalise each other. |

| Yeah, they won't want McGough et al. But, I wouldn't give up pick 7, there is no way known I would give up pick 7 for Smith. |
