Looks like everyone reckons in the AFL reckons he is a Hack too and was not Picked Up.
So would he play for us in the VFL?

your language is a little disappointing. please do not refer to richards as a hack. he may not be the most skilful but he is a human being. you don't like it when people call you names, always remember that.
while it is sad for guy not to be picked up again i wish him well with whatever he ends up doing. maybe he will be an option in our vfl team.

yep thats the end for galloping guy. Ultimately he has had more than half a decade on an AFL list and has something to tell his kids and grandkids about one day. He can even talk about winning 2 finals matches in 07 and loosing by 5 points to the eventual premiers in a nailbiting prelim final.

so did any other ex afl'ers get picked up?
or are the other 15 clubs as smart as collingwood for discarding them in the first place???? i had thought one was boasted about definately being picked up for season 2008?

yeah, the money was on richmond but i think they picked up gourdis? did they do that? haven't seen the results.
