Definitely not the worst forward. But did his ankle, can't afford to play injured players in finals

Too slow. Not good enough in a contest. Not effective enough full stop.

It's all academic now. Rocca's body doesn't stand up. He's done his ankle.

The selectors might finally agree with some of us on Nick's that Dawes should not have been dropped in Round 21. Dawes must play Rocca's role next week, but he'll give us a lot more up the ground and off the ball.

Pity they didn't give him a full four weeks to play himself in before the finals.

Can't wait for Bucks to start overruling the senior coach next year. Wink

Leaving the ground today we witnessed a Collingwood supporter clearly in the throes of some sort of alcohol or other substance abuse. He couldn't walk straight and was abusing everyone, including his mates, who eventually left him.

Glad to see you made it home ok, champ.

Was far from worst, probably even our top 5.

Made a contest every time he went near the ball and brought the ball to ground.

Real conundrum as to whether he's worth playing next week. Did well, in fact I dare say he was in the top 5 or 6 on the ground for us today (not that that's necessarily saying much). I just don't know if we can expect too much more from him than what we saw today.

What game were you watching? Was clearly our best forward, considering Cloke did his best work from 70 m plus away from goal. He is a wingman nothing more nothing less.
All academic now, but Rocca was one of our best chances to pinch a flag this year, and if you cant see that you need glasses!

Rocca was in our better players. There was lots of MIA. Jack, Cloke, Leon was average, I could go on.

Too many soft passengers. Soft tackling, poor turnovers.

Check out the VFL there are many who would like a go and they should get a go. But not at the expense of Rocca who actually had a go. (unless he is unfit)

I'm sure all of us a grateful for what he's done for us in the past. I have many fond memories watching him.

The goal he kicked against Adelaide in the Preliminary Final in 2002, from the edge of the centre square, when the MCG erupted was one of the greatest moments I've ever enjoyed watching football.

His performance against Sydney in the 2007 Elimination final springs to mind.

Or when he collided with Rory Hilton during the 2003 season and in doing so broke Hilton's ribs.

Or when he kicked 8 on Zach Dawson.

The problem is...unfortunately...that is all in the past.

I won't cop that he didn't offer anything for us today , I thought he was utilised poorly and crowded by Saints ,as they do. 2 goals and crashing some packs was more than many others offered.
Looks like his ankle is gone.

Ant you've been great. You've been in the rooms, around the Club for the last two terrible years for you injury wise. I salute you. But time catches up with everyone. Loved watching you today. Good luck with your US punting career.

Now let's get back Dick, Wellers and Wood and give Adelaide the usual hell.
