Dale Thomas to break out as a genuine midfielder in 2010?

Good Call - Thomas will take his game to a new level as what Pendlebury did this year.

Im with you spoljar.

I think we've been far too harsh on Dale. Probably because he was so good in his first year.

The truth is that despite a poor year this year, he suffered injuries that he struggled to manage and that ultimately his stats were up on average.

He won more of the ball despite the fact he actually added a defensive aspect to his game. He tagged Judd against carlton and Drummond against Brisbane.

He just needs a big pre-season. He'll follow the Ablett mould who took until the age of 24 to hit consistent footy.

Dave - I think you may have been out in the sun mate.

GA jr - 2007 - Cats B&F, 20 votes in the Brownlow, All Australian and player of the year etc.,

He turned 23 that year - started the season as a 22 year old.

Daisey is 22 and will be 23 next year.

Time for him to stand up.
