what about this for an idea

lets say we cant meet tooveys demands and he seeks a trade home then why not trade him for a draft pick and use it to pick up a very deserving kris pendlebury who can be groomed into tooveys old role for much much less of the salary?

No way. K Pendles is decent one-on-one, but really lacks pace. One of Tooves' greatest assets is his pace, which allows him to get to & compete in the contests. I think K Pendles would really get found out by decent AFL standard forwards & would be left trailing behind his man in most instances. If anything, K Pendles is more like Maxy as a player, not Tooves.

seeing as clark (lions) wants to go to freo. you reckon if toovey wanted to head back to WA we can do a trade with freo say to get clarke (freo ruckmen) to pies for toovey?

clarke will be a good ruckmen at pies. can easily be 2nd ruckmen and is only 21. he is way ahead of wood in terms of rucking

Trying to force Collingwoods hand big time. He will never earn more than this current contract so I guess he is going in hard.

If it as reported in the press then he should be getting a new manager.

I will await on this one. Do not read much into the press (remember Cloke??).

However, Tooves is very much replaceable. Goldsack IMO is a more rounded player.
